v1.33: retry every failed delivery to a webhook in one press
Release v1.33.0 adds Retry failed deliveries to each webhook endpoint: one press resends everything it missed, with the original delivery ID and payload.

When your webhook receiver is down, FormFlow cannot deliver the Submissions that arrive meanwhile. Until Release v1.33.0 on 5 October 2026, getting them delivered later meant pressing Retry now on each Submission, one at a time. Each webhook endpoint now has a Retry failed deliveries button that does all of them at once. The Changelog entry gives the short version. This post covers when to use it and what it will not do.
What happens when a receiver is down
A failed delivery is attempted again several times. When one runs out of attempts it counts as failed, and when deliveries to an endpoint keep failing, FormFlow stops sending to it and emails you: Webhook deactivated for the Form. That email says that Submissions are still being stored and only the forwarding stopped. It also names the next step, which is to fix the endpoint, re-enable it and press Retry failed deliveries on its row.
Using it
Fix the receiver first. A retry gives each failed delivery one more attempt, so there is no point pressing it while the receiver is still down.
Open the Form and go to the Delivery settings. Find the webhook endpoint. If FormFlow switched it off, turn Delivering on and save the Form.
Press Retry failed deliveries on that endpoint's row and confirm.
The panel tells you how many failed deliveries were queued again.
The button works on an endpoint that has been saved and is switched on. On an unsaved row it asks you to save the Form first, and on a switched-off endpoint it asks you to turn Delivering on and save.
What your receiver sees
A retried delivery is the same delivery, not a new one. It goes out with its original delivery ID and its original payload. FormFlow sends that ID in the X-FormFlow-Delivery-Id header. If your receiver might already have processed a delivery before the failure, store the IDs you have handled and skip a repeat.
Limits
One more attempt each. If the endpoint still fails, it is switched off again and you are back where you started.
At most 500 deliveries a press, oldest first. If there are more, the panel says so, and you press again for the rest.
Deliveries made before you changed the endpoint's URL, secret or format are not resent. If nothing qualifies, the panel says no failed deliveries to this endpoint can be retried.
It acts on one endpoint. A Form with two webhook endpoints has two buttons, and each resends only its own failures.
The same day, v1.33.1 fixed the message a student sees when their time on a timed Form runs out.
